The StarTech.com 3ft (1m) DB9 to 3.5mm RS232 Serial Cable is designed for serial device configuration and calibration via audio jack. This cable connects a serial device with a 9-pin DB-9 RS-232 male connector to an audio input/output port using a stereo mini-phone (3.5mm) male plug, making it suitable for devices such as projectors or TVs that require serial communication through an auxiliary port.
