The Astrotek HDMI Extender is designed to extend HDMI signals and bidirectional wideband infrared control signals up to 70 metres using CAT6 cables or 40 metres for higher resolutions like 4K@30Hz. It converts HDMI signals into standard signals for HDBaseT transmission via LAN cable, enabling remote control of signal source devices or display devices through a bi-directional infrared interface and RS-232 signal transparent transmission.
