The Alloy GCR2000SFP is a versatile Gigabit Ethernet media converter that can be used as a standalone device or installed in an Alloy DCR12 Series Media Converter Chassis. It features:
Connectivity
- 1x RJ-45 port for copper connections
- 1x SFP slot supporting mini-GBIC modules
Compatibility
- Dual-purpose use: standalone or rackmount in DCR12 chassis
- Supports multimode, singlemode, and WDM fibre connections
- LC and SC fibre connectors supported on individual models
Range
- Up to 50 kilometres for fixed port MGCR2000 Series converters
- Up to 120 kilometres with the MGCR2000SFP converter
Installation and Management
- Easy 'Slide-in, Hot Swap' installation into DCR12 chassis systems
- Supports Forced and Far-end Fault mode
- Link Fault Passthrough (LFP) feature included
