At TechLoop, we want to make sure your purchasing experience is the best it can be; which is why we offer a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee.

The TechLoop 30 Day Money Back Guarantee does not exclude or replace your statutory rights given under the Australian Consumer Law and Regulations ACT 2010.

We understand sometimes your purchase is not the right fit and you may change your mind, in this instance, TechLoop may offer you either an exchange or refund. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food or drinks cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that contain hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

For change of mind please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where we may offer partial refunds, this is at our discretion:

  • Books with obvious signs of use
  • CDs, DVDs, software, or video games that have been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exclusions

Please choose carefully when purchasing the following products as we are unfortunately unable to offer our 30 Day Money Back Guarantee.

  • Custom special ordered computers or built to order
  • Clearance product(s)
  • Complementary products

Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: PO BOX 24, Leppington, NSW, 2179, Australia.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Replacement Warranty

TechLoop offers replacement warranty for items dead on arrival, damaged in delivery, faulty during replacement period or incorrectly delivered.

If you receive a product that is dead on delivery, damaged during the delivery or incorrectly delivered, please contact us by email/telephone with ther following details to receive a Return Authority (RA) Number:

  • Your name, best contact phone number, address and your email address
  • Order number and original shipment tracking number
  • Item serial number
  • Reason for return

Please then return the product with suitable packaging (preferably with its original packaging) to prevent damage in delivering the product back to us.

To return your product, you should mail your product to:

Upon receipt of the returned product with your with a Return Authority (RA) Number provided, we will test and repair the product, or in some circumstances, we may need to refer the product to the manufacturer for testing.

If the product is not dead on arrival or damaged in delivery and in full working condition or any defect or damage was caused after you took delivery of the product, we will return the product to you. You will be invoiced the costs of testing the product and shipping for the return of the product to you.

Manufacturer Warranty

All products we sell have a minimum 12 month warranty (unless otherwise stated such as in the case of complementary products). On top of this many brands will offer manufacturer’s warranties that extend beyond this. Any additional manufacturer’s warranties will be mentioned on the individual product listing.

Many manufacturers have dedicated support centres designed specifically to deal with issues in relation to their products and may even provide in-home support and advanced troubleshooting. In many circumstances, the manufacturer may be able to provide a quicker assessment of, and remedy for, any issue with your product, even if the manufacturer’s warranty has expired.

We suggest you first contact the manufacturer rather than TechLoop, although you are not obliged to do this and, if at any time you are not satisfied with the manufacturer’s remedy in relation to your legal rights, you can contact us for assistance.

The warranty information listed above is in addition to any statutory rights to which you may be entitled under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.
